Trans Identifying Service Providers in Minnesota

Gender affirming services are something that I take very seriously in my own practice. This is by no means a comprehensive list of trans identifying service providers working in the Twin Cities. I am always working towards adding to this list so If you have a recommendation or are a provider yourself and wish to be featured here, please email me!

  • what does “radical waxing for all bodies mean”?

it means i try my darndest to approach my work as a service provider from a body positive, gender affirming, and intersectional point of view. all my services are gender neutral and you never have to disclose information about your body or your gender that you do not wish to disclose to receive a service from me. i consider myself a fat, queer, and trans positive body waxer!

who do you share your salon with?

my suite mate is none other than the incomparable reyna of strip wax studio. reyna and i met in 2017 as coworkers at my first ever waxing gig and have been friends and esteemed peers ever since. reyna also specializes in hard wax and is an amazing brow artist who is currently accepting new clients!

why aren’t you accepting new brow clients?

i have decided to focus my brow work specifically on my gender affirming brow services at this time! i am still accepting return brow clients for waxing and tinting and of course my suite mate reyna is always accepting new brow clients!

    what is your cancellation policy?

if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so within 24 hours. if you do not cancel within 24 hours you will be charged for the full amount of your service.

    what if i’m running late?

stuff happens! i get it! i do suggest you try to show up for your appointment at least 5 minutes early, especially if it’s your first time here! if you are going to be more than 5 minutes late please text me and let me know and if you’re going to be more than 10 minutes late we will have to reschedule your appointment!

can i wax while i’m pregnant?

yes! you can wax right up until you give birth if you want to. many clients choose to wax before having a baby for a variety of reasons - they are already in the habit, mobility gets more difficult, potential for unexpected surgical procedures, sometimes it’s just nice to have a self care moment during a fairly exhausting experience! no matter the reason, it’s perfectly safe to wax while you're pregnant. after you give birth i suggest you wait at least 4-8 weeks post-partum to get your next wax. as always with everything, taking the advice and direction of your doctor / obgyn is paramount!

    what if…?

…i’m scared / embarrassed / nervous / worried that my hair is too long or i just had a baby or i am a fat person / i am queer / i am trans / i am disabled / i feel like my body is weird etc etc?

i love to joke that i would only ever freely admit to having a handful of skills and helping people through first time brazilians is one of them. this is my job and i see all kinds of bodies all day and yours is perfect because it is yours! everyone’s body is completely different and i am not here to judge you, i am here to be one of the tools in life that makes you feel like your body more accurately reflects your inner self. i have extensive experience in waxing all body types, all hair types, all ages, and races and genders. i will meet you exactly where you're at when you come through my door and give you a professional and exceptional service no matter what!
